Fat Burning and Weight Loss Issues

Fat burning diets are incredibly effective for, well, burning body fat tissue obviously. And weight loss diets are incredibly effective for, well, losing weight with obviously. Before beginning any type of diet program (one to burn fat with or one to lose weight with) it is important to decide exactly what type of results you are looking for. Otherwise, precious time and energy may be wasted trying to attain results that cannot be attained. Before we go any further we should explain exactly what type of results a fat burning diet produces. That being a loss of pure body fat tissue without losing any water or muscle tissue. And before we go any further we should explain exactly what type of results a weight loss diet produces. That being a loss of mostly water and muscle tissue with only a small percentage of the lost weight being in the form of body fat tissue.

Every year millions of dieters begin using weight loss diets. Millions of people do this even though the goal of dieting is not to lose weight. The goal of dieting is not to lose weight but in fact to burn fat. Which needless to say, can only be accomplished with a fat burning diet. The goal of dieting is to burn fat not to lose weight. This is true because when we look at ourselves in the mirror and decide to begin using a diet program we are not disgusted with our excessive water and muscle tissue. We are disgusted with our excessive body fat tissue. Therefore, if the goal is to burn fat then use a fat burning diet and if the goal is to drop a few pounds of water and muscle tissue for no other reason that to see the numbers on the scale go down then use a weight loss diet. As mentioned already diets designed for weight loss results are very effective for losing weight, and diets designed for fat burning results are very effective for burning fat.

Whichever of these two types of diet programs are chosen for use it is important to know beforehand what specific results are attainable with each diet. If not, the time and energy spent using either of these two very different diet programs will have been wasted. We should explain exactly what type of results are attainable by using a weight loss diet. This type of diet will produce a loss of mostly muscle tissue and water but not much body fat tissue. We should also explain exactly what type of results are attainable by using a fat burning diet before we go any further. This type of diet will produce a loss of pure body fat tissue without losing any muscle tissue or water in the process. The goal of dieting is to burn stored body fat tissue not simply to lose weight. And needless to say, burning fat can only be accomplished by using a fat burning diet. Unfortunately, the vast majority of dieters each year use weight loss diets. The vast majority of dieters do this even though the goal of dieting is not to lose weight but rather to burn fat.

To lose weight is not the goal of dieting but rather the goal is to burn fat. For example, when we see our reflections in the mirror we do not want to get rid of the muscle tissue and water located underneath our skin. When we see our reflections in the mirror we want to get rid of the excess stored body fat tissue located underneath our skin. Basically, if the goal is to drop a few pounds of muscle tissue and water in order to visually see the numbers on the scale go down then a weight loss diet will do but if the goal is to burn actual stored body fat tissue and truly change the look of the body then a fat burning diet is highly recommended.
