There is nothing to losing weight, all a person really needs to do is avoid consuming junk food. And if a person desires to speed up the weight loss process, exercising would not be a bad idea. Losing weight really is as simple as avoiding or at least heavily reducing one’s intake of junk food. And as far as exercising is concerned it does not necessarily matter what kind is performed as long as it is performed. The consumption of junk food is the number one reason as to why people store body fat tissue.
The number two reason being a complete lack of exercising. And a love for consuming junk food is the number one reason as to why people so often fail to rid their bodies of stored body fat tissue. Not to mention a love for not exercising. It is hard to blame people for having a love for junk food since it tastes so good. It is also hard to blame people for not exercising since it is not exactly fun to do. To make matters worse junk food is literally everywhere, supermarkets, liquor stores, mini-marts, schools, office buildings, fast food restaurants, etc. making it nearly impossible to avoid.
And in today’s busy world the average adult barely has any free time to him or herself and most often chooses not to spend what little time is available exercising. There is nothing inside of junk food that can be considered nutritional, therefore fat storage takes place with almost every single bite. Add a lack of exercising to the mix and even more fat storage will take place since a lack of exercise will slow the metabolism to the point that it burns fewer and fewer calories. To remedy this situation is easy, simply stop consuming junk food and the body will stop storing so many of its calories in the form of body fat tissue. And start exercising aerobically on a regular basis to speed up the metabolism and thus burn more and more calories.
As already mentioned, weight loss is an incredibly simple process, for most people all that is required is the avoidance of junk food, but this is an important point which needs to be repeated. Contrary to popular opinion exercising is not even necessary although it will certainly help speed up the weight loss process. Weight loss truly is as simple a process as avoiding junk food or at least heavily reducing its intake. And the type of exercise a person chooses to perform is not that important as long as a person begins exercising. Eating too much junk food is by far the number one reason as to why the average person gains weight. A complete lack of exercising being the number two reason. Eating too much junk food is also by far the number one reason as to why the average person fails in his or her attempt to lose weight. With a complete lack of exercising again being the number two reason.
Junk food tastes so darn good that it is hard to blame anyone for not being able to avoid consuming it. And exercising is so darn boring and tedious that it is hard to blame anyone for not wanting to perform it. What is even worse about junk food is that it is available on just about every street corner (grocery stores, mini-marts, liquor stores, fast food restaurants, schools, office buildings, etc.). Even people who do exercise typically ruin their time spent exercising by eating these unhealthy and fattening foods afterwards if not also before. With almost every bite of junk food taken small amounts of body fat tissue are being stored. This combined with a lack of exercising will cause even more fat tissue to be stored since fewer and fewer calories will be burned as the metabolism slows. To stop the storing of fat tissue is simple as all that is required is for a person to stop consuming junk food. And to begin the burning of fat tissue is simple as all that is required is for a person to speed up the metabolism by exercising aerobically.
The weight loss process begins with this basic but extremely effective concept of simply consuming less junk food and regularly exercising. Obviously the less junk food a person consumes and the more time a person spends exercising the better. The number one reason why people gain weight is because they eat too much junk food and spend most of their time inactive rarely if ever exercising. Similarly, the number one reason why people most often fail in their weight loss attempts is because they cannot keep from eating junk food nor keep from not exercising. Apparently the average person does not want to lose weight and exercise as much as he or she wants to eat junk food and not spend any time exercising. Junk food tastes so good that it is hard to blame anyone for having an addiction to it and exercising is so boring and not exactly fun that it is hard to blame anyone for not wanting to do it.
The problem for those who have a problem not being able to stop consuming junk food and not being able to begin exercising is stopping and beginning. Meaning, stopping the consumption of junk food and exercising all of a sudden is not likely to happen for as the saying goes…an object in motion tends to stay in motion and an object at rest tends to stay at rest. Kicking the junk food habit is difficult because it is everywhere and is hard to resist in today’s busy world where the average person is on the go and does not have time for cooking let alone exercising. It is odd that we have the time and desire to do the things we do not want to do (get fat by eating junk food) but we do not have the time for doing the things we want to do (eat right and begin exercising). What we need to do is find the time to do the things we want to do (eat right and begin exercising) while at the same time losing the time to do the things we no longer want to do (get fat by eating too much junk food).
Weight loss is not rocket science, all that is required is for a person to begin exercising on a regular basis while cutting out the consumption of junk food. Needless to say, the more time spent exercising and the less junk food a person consumes the better for weight loss purposes. Although there are some specific diets and forms of exercise that are best for weight loss purposes, the average person starting with the basics of eating less junk food and exercising on a regular basis is the way to go. It is no secret that people gain weight because they consume too much junk food and rarely spend time exercising if at all. It is also no secret that people fail time and time again in their weight loss endeavors because they do not commit to exercising and especially because they cannot keep themselves from consuming their favorite junk food for more than a day or two on average. From the above mentioned behaviors it would seem that the average person is addicted to junk food and not exercising.
There is nothing like the taste of one’s favorite junk food and so it is not surprising that it can become addictive and since there is nothing like relaxing it is not surprising that people choose to avoid exercising when given the choice. The obvious way to get over one’s addiction to junk food is obviously to stop eating it and the obvious way to begin exercising is to simply begin doing it. Although this sounds simple enough the vast majority of people cannot do it for if they could stop eating junk food and begin exercising they would. Because an addiction to junk food is like any addiction it is very difficult to get over even with hard work and in today’s busy world it is even harder because the average person is on the go and does not have time to prepare healthy meals, nor time for exercising. Not having the time to prepare healthy meals means a person will more than likely eat junk food for meals and not having the time for exercising will cause a person’s metabolism to slow down. This is a double whammy of sorts in that most junk food calories have no use inside the body and therefore will be stored as fat tissue and not exercising will slow the metabolism causing fewer calories to be burned which will lead to more fat storage.
